MISSION & PURPOSE
The overall purpose of the C.L.I.M.B. (Changing Lives Is My Business) initiative is providing exposure to leadership practices and the increasingly important field of coding, cybersecurity, and data science for overall workforce development for the City of Baton Rouge and the State of Louisiana.
CYBERSECURITY – A GLOBAL/NATIONAL PARADIGM
In the United States, a stunning statistic is emerging in Information Technology and Cybersecurity: Cybersecurity Ventures predict that there will be 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs globally by 2021, up from several million positions in 2019. These figures are corroborated by hundreds of universities, governments, vendors, recruitment firms, and security experts.
